Something that comes up in the ADHD space a lot is that
‘Mindfulness is impossible for the ADHD brain’ or
‘There is no clinical evidence that it’s an effective ADHD treatment’
The first one is definitely not the case.
The second one is unfortunately partly true.
Mindfulness isn’t as profitable of a product as medication therefore, until now, it’s not got the appeal for someone to slap millions of dollars into clinical research.
Clinical research isn’t the full picture anyway.
Before practicing mindfulness, I was living on autopilot.
Life was passing me by.
Impulsive, unregulated, living a second or third life in my head, frustrated with life.
I discovered it as I started my ADHD journey, as I make the choice to not use medication.
It’s completely changed my life.
I’m more self aware.
My impulses are more controlled.
I’m able to stop getting caught in those negative though patterns as much.
I haven’t touched alcohol in approaching 2 years and
I barely have food binges now.
After a bit of a rough and confusing patch for me, I actually feel more than satisfied with how things are for maybe the first time in my life.
I know mindfulness isn’t impossible for an ADHD brain.
Because I have one and I can do it.
So do the people I teach it to.
It’s just usually explained badly and people are expecting too much from the start.
After seeing the positive changes in my life and also in the lives of the people I teach it to, what better way to get this message across than in a
FREE Learn ADHD-Informed Mindfulness in 5 Days Course.
It’s something you’ll have to keep practicing in your own time to really see the benefits although this course will help you bring it into your life.
It includes:

This is my most exciting creation to date.
I have 0 problems giving this away for free.
I know how valuable mindfulness can be for someone ADHD wired.
And even if you’re not ADHD yourself, I’ve kept it so simple that you can also practice it yourself.
P.s If this sounds interesting or think this could help someone in your network, would you consider resharing this to bring it to them?
It helps to spread the word and will allow me to keep writing this free articles.
